Martin-Riverside comes from the names of both streets our fraternity has been located. We were housed at 526 N. Martin from 1952-56 and at its current location on Riverside Avenue since then. The name was chosen not only to recognize an important part of our history but to avoid confusion with our national non-profit, the Sigma Phi Epsilon Educational Foundation.

Established in 1994, its purpose is to promote scholarship, leadership, and assist in providing a living environment that enhances both. Through the generous contributions of hundreds of alumni like you, we’ve made great progress.

Membership requires a $100 annual contribution, made payable to the Ball State University Foundation. Because the BSU Foundation is a non-profit, withdrawals from the fund are limited to educational and leadership projects. This includes anything from purchasing computers to sending Undergraduates to leadership conferences around the Country.
